Allan M Eno, Consultant Psychotherapist is the founder of the PUMB since 2004. The Psychological Unity of Mind & Body is a psychological therapy practice, which speacialises in Brief Therapy. PUMB is an abbreviation of the practice's name known as the Psychological Unity of Mind & Body. The concept derives from psychobiology, which illustrates how the mind and body are interconnected and the relationship of how one may affect the other. Drawing on research evidence from human biology, neuro-science and psychology, the PUMB combines these disciplines to form a holistic approach in order to provide effective psychological therapy. The PUMB is an evidence-based practice, striving to consistently achieve effective clinical outcomes.

Practitioner Profile
ALLAN M.ENO. MSc Degree in Counselling Psychology/Psychological Counselling, accredited by the British Psychological Society(BPS). BSc(Hons) Degree in Social Science with a psychology pathway and a Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling. I also maintain a Certificate in Personal Life Coaching and a Professional Qualification in Clinical Supervision. A Trauma Therapy specialist, I have completed training recognised by the International Association for Rewind Trauma Therapy (IARTT). I have also completed Expert Skills Assessment Training for Family Court Proceedings.

A skilled practitioner with a wealth of experience, I maintain over 19 years adult/child mental health experience. My research area includes Beliefs About Input Pain Management for Sickle Cell Patients.

I am a current member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Registered/Accredited Practitioner of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also an independent practitioner of the United Kingdom Register for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP).

Area of Specialisms
My specialisms include the application of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Guided Imagery/Visualisation techniques are frequently combined with CBT and SFBT for a range of client problems, which include Depression, PTSD and Anxiety Disorders. I am an approved Healthcare Provider for some of the leading Healthcare Insurance Providers. I also offer Employment Assistance Programmes (EAP) Counselling for a range of work-life balance problems. I offer clinical supervision for a range of practitioners, which may include; counsellors, social workers, psychotherapists and psychologists among other professions. Other related services include; assessment, treatment and reports for health insurance claims. Telephone Counselling and the provision of training programs and the new Effective Stress Buster Sessions.
