Practice Opening Times
The practice is open for appointments from 0900 to 20.00. The last evening appointments are 19.00-20.00.
Code of Ethics and Practice
The Psychological Unity of Mind & Body works within the professional framework of two National Bodies.
All psychological therapies and interventions provided at the PUMB are conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the British Psychological Society(BPS) and the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and their professional Code of Ethics and Practice Standards. This practice and the related practitioner is subject to the complaint procedures of the BPS & BACP.
The PUMB welcomes all clients and does not discriminate on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
The Type of Clients Seen at the PUMB
Adults and young people under the age 16. Young people that would like to access the services at the PUMB will require parental/guardian consent from the outset.
Private Client/Patient Referrals:
The PUMB accepts referrals from private GP clinics and related hospitals. Referrals may also derive from other private health care services and mental/health care professionals alike.
Off Site Psychological Therapy & Clinical Supervision:
The PUMB also provides off-site psychotherapy/counselling and consultancy clinical supervision, which is not based at the Physical Health Clinic.
