The Psychological Unity of Mind & Body is a psychological therapy practice, which speacialises in Brief Therapy. PUMB is an abbreviation of the practice's name known as the Psychological Unity of Mind & Body. The concept derives from psychobiology, which illustrates how the mind and body are interconnected and the relationship of how one may affect the other. Drawing on research evidence from human biology and psychology, the PUMB combines these disciplines to form a holistic approach in order to provide effective psychological therapy.

Practitioner Profile
ALLAN M.ENO. MSc in Counselling Psychology/Psychological Counselling, accredited by the British Psychological Society(BPS). BSc(Hons) Degree. Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling and a Professional Qualification in Clinical Supervision.

I am a qualified Psychotherapist with a clinical background in Counselling Psychology and an accredited/registered practitioner with twelve years adult/child mental health experience. My research area includes Beliefs About Input Pain Management for Sickle Cell Patients. In addition to a Master of Science Degree in Counselling Psychology/Psychological Counselling, I also maintain a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Social Science, with a psychology major, a Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling and a Professional Qualification in Clinical Supervision.

I am a current member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Registered/Accredited Practitioner of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also an independent practitioner of the United Kingdom Register for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP).

Area of Specialisms
My specialisms include the application of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Guided Imagery/Visualisation techniques are frequently combined with CBT and SFBT for a range of client problems, which include Depression, PTSD and Anxiety Disorders. I am a current recognised PruHealth provider, which relates to the provision of therapy via medical health insurance claims. I also offer Employment Assistance Programmes (EAP) Counselling for a range of work-life balance problems. I offer clinical supervision for a range of practitioners, which may include; counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists amongst other professions.
